Welcome to the Calgary Concrete Masters website. By accessing this site, requesting estimates, or hiring us for concrete contracting work, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Estimates

All estimates and written quotes supplied by Calgary Concrete Masters estimators are valid for exactly **30 days** from the date of issuance. Prices reflect current local Calgary aggregate, cement, and steel pricing. Estimates requested after 30 days are subject to re-evaluation.

2. Weather Delays & Schedules

Concrete pouring is highly weather-sensitive. Slabs cannot be properly poured or finished during heavy rainfall, freezing temperatures, or high wind events. Calgary Concrete Masters reserves the right to postpone project schedules to ensure the structural integrity of your pour. We are not liable for scheduling delays caused by adverse weather conditions in Alberta.

3. Utility Locates (Alberta One-Call)

Before any excavation takes place, Calgary Concrete Masters will submit a utility request to Alberta One-Call to identify buried electrical, gas, and telecommunication lines. The property owner must notify us of any custom private lines (such as sprinkler networks, septic layouts, or secondary garage power cables) that are not tracked by Alberta One-Call.

4. Workmanship & Warranty

Calgary Concrete Masters provides a **Workmanship Warranty** on all new structural slabs, driveways, and patios. This covers major structural settling and joint separation. The warranty does not cover:

  • Minor surface hairline cracks (which are natural characteristics of concrete shrinkage).
  • Damage caused by heavy equipment overloading beyond the estimated design capacity (such as commercial delivery trucks).
  • Damage from using chemical de-icers (road salts) on newly sealed concrete.

5. Payment Terms

Our standard payment schedule is as follows:

  • A deposit (typically 10-20% depending on project scale) is required to secure your place in our construction schedule.
  • Progress payments may be scheduled for larger commercial contracts.
  • Final balance is due immediately upon project completion and walkthrough sign-off.
